Mehreen-Khan Additional Learning Needs Coordinator
I’m Mehreen Khan and I’m a remedial therapist. For me, education is a right of every individual. Remedial education is a specialized teaching approach created to support individuals with learning difficulties, to reinforce and fill in gaps so that they may improve and work at their full capacity. Remedial teaching is solely aimed at the benefit of every student, it’s activity-based and uses various techniques and strategies, designed to meet the unique learning needs of every student. Although students with learning difficulties are very intelligent and observant, it’s just that they need more time to understand the concept are they can be distracted easily. Thus, remedial education provides them with additional support that will eventually help them excel in their fields.
