Pottery
Pottery is a blend of score, slip, throwing, and press! These are the basics steps towards working with clay. We believe for an individual to reach the serenity within, one needs to touch and feel earthiness in clay and water. The smoothness and the ease of molding it into anything helps create that serene effect.
How does pottery benefit children?
It improves creativity and self-esteem. A child’s interest can be captivated for hours in an undisturbed or focused pottery session as clay has a really soothing and calming effect. Pottery gives children the ability to think beyond conventional norms. Clay is easy to handle and is a forgiving form of art. Mistakes can easily be rolled back to start over. They realize they can mess up their projects and keep going. Their self-esteem grows as they understand the power of imagination and creativity which they can easily use to transform something with clay.

Is it safe for children?
Yes, of course! Though Candy Club does not believe in fearing material and that is what we teach. But, we make sure “safety is first” and all the necessary measures are taken. E.g the metal sheets given to children are thoroughly checked for any rough and sharp edges and are prepared accordingly and children wear anti-cut gloves and protective eyewear. When/if heating is needed the PPE is upgraded accordingly.
